The recruitment process at Assel consists of the following stages. Our main objective of undertaking such actions is to ensure that the chosen candidates are appropriate for their positions.
Stage 1 - CV and Cover Letter
In the first stage of the recruitment process, we will be selecting a number of candidates on the basis of their CV’s and Covering Letters. Each application is examined in detail for accordance with the job profile.
Before preparing your CV and Covering Letter do get familiar with our company, the nature of our activities and services, as well as the markets, in which we operate. Relevant information that will help you in familiarising yourself with our company can be found on our website.
Stage 2 - Interview
Selected candidates will be invited for an interview with a representative of our Human Resources Department. Throughout the second stage, we evaluate potential candidates on the basis of their personality, as well as qualifications and competencies in relation to the position.
During the first interview, potential candidates can expect questions about their experience, education, professional goals, interests, and knowledge about our company and the market in which we operate. We suggest that you re-examine the requirements for the job and prepare real life examples that validate that you possess the required qualifications and skills. We also aim to verify your personality, language skills, motivation to work and teamwork skills
The interview is also an opportunity for you to learn more about our company, the position for which you apply, our organizational culture and our business values.
Step 3 – Assessment / Final Interview
We intend this to be the last stage of the recruitment process. Potential candidates are invited for an interview with the head of the department that they will be working in. This will be a competence-based interview, as well as an opportunity for you ask detailed questions about the department. Depending on the position, we frequently ask candidates to prepare a presentation or simulate a task that they would be likely to encounter in day-to-day work.
The final decision is made after Stage 3 is completed. Our evaluation is based on the entire recruitment process, in which the candidate has participated. The successful applicant is subsequently offered a position.
